Hey everyone! I recently traveled to a horse show called Ledges and I did very well! Between Florida and Ledges I returned to school and caught up with my friends. I was very excited to see them all and my other horse Rou. I also had a two-week spring break which was nice, and I celebrated my birthday with my family. Then after spring break I returned to school for one day and then headed to Ledges Horse Show. It was the final horse show of the Ledges Winter Series and I did very well!

I showed Spankey in the Second Year Working Greens and the Junior Hunters. We were very successful in both! In the Second Years we received two 3rd places in the over fences which were 3’6 and one 2nd place in the under saddle where the horses walk, trot and canter. In the Junior Hunters I received a 1st, two 5ths and a 6th in the over fences and a 3rd in the under saddle. Then I competed in two hunter classics which consist of two rounds of over fences and are worth more points. I received a 3rd in the Junior Hunter Classic and a 5th in the Junior/Amateur Owner Classic.

I’m very excited about my first 1st place in the Junior Hunters! I’m looking forward to many more blue ribbons with Spankey and Rou in the future. My next show is in Kentucky in May and I’m looking forward to it because it is one of my favorite horse shows to go to!
