Webcam down for the duration

webcam.jpgSorry, Webcam fans!   The camera appears to be taking a holiday.   It’s been down for more than a week now, and although I hoped it would come back on its own (as it often does), so far no luck.

Unfortunately I haven’t had time and will not have time to leave my day-to-day duties and get up on the roof to investigate any time soon.   Possibly the week of Dec. 28, if all goes well and it isn’t back online by then.

    I guess no one cares about the web cam anymore. We just accept that it won't work in the winter time. I feel bad for the sponsors and all so out of towners.

    Hi Bob, thanks for checking in. Unfortunately I just haven't been able to spare the time to get away from my desk and get on the roof to troubleshoot the camera. FYI, our sponsors only provide material support — Holiday Inn provides the rooftop, and Chain O Lakes Internet provides the Internet connection.

      Ann, I had hoped to take advantage of this week’s warm weather to check on the camera, but haven’t been able to get away from my other day-to-day duties. I’m still hoping to make it up to the roof this week. Please stay tuned, the webcam is not down for good.
