Under “Current Galleries” you’ll see the two events or Monday photo story galleries that are most current. Under “Special Galleries” you’ll find several standing galleries including:
- Bonus Sports — used to publish extra photos of a sporting event that we may not have published in print.
- Week In Photos — contains every photograph taken by our staff that appears in the paper during a given week. Updated daily.
- Landscape Photography — includes some outstanding photography of our beautiful Grand Traverse area. Updated occasionally.
- Best of the Record-Eagle — our photographers’ favorite shots from any given month.

Today we welcome a new blogger to our site, Todd Sears. A retired US Naval Intelligence officer, Todd currently lives in Northamptonshire, UK, but plans to return to his wife’s native Leelanau County in the summer of 2008.
